Americas Best Value Inn Winona

I had booked a smoking room on the ground floor as I am disabled. Upon arrival, we were told that there were no smoking rooms available on the ground floor. There is no elevator, so stairs were our only option. It was very, very difficult to get into and out of the room, as I could not do stairs very well. Carrying anything like luggage, a cup of coffee or shopping bags, while navigating stairs is a problem when needing a cane to walk. Once we got into our room, I could not leave again until the next day because I cannot do stairs easily and without a great deal of pain. I was not able to go to the office in the morning to get coffee, and we were only given one packet of coffee for the coffee maker in the room. I could not go to the office to request more either. Fortunately, there's a mcdonald's across the street, so I was able to get coffee when we left the hotel. Just no coffee when you first get up in the morning. That was miserable. The beds were comfy, and the towels were nice and soft. We did have an issue with the shower. As half the water would go down the spout and the other half came out of the shower nozzle. So the pressure wasn't that great for taking a shower. Overall, though, it was okay. The location was convenient as it's right on the highway. Our room was cleaned while we were out, leaving fresh towels and 1 packet of coffee. Check-in was easy. I'm not sure about checkout, as we left at 3am to leave for the airport. We stayed 3 nights. I would stay again. It is very quiet and seems safe. I would need to have a ground floor room next time.

We came for a bike event. I was told to book at Holiday inn $197.00 over American best value inn $107.00. To our surprise this hotel was very nice. Rooms where clean and updated and spacious. There was trailer parking also. Breakfast was just a walk in but not bad. Well worth the money. And thank God there was no pets allowed so we did not have to listen to a bunch of barking.

Everything is perfect, location and rooms and owner of the hotel is very helpful besides front desk white lady ,she’s rude with other race. She needs to change her attitude, i was going to teach her but then i thought she’s old its ok

Very clean! They do clean every day. Beds r comfy the water is hot. Super cute spot and the people who own this place are very friendly so nice . They have accommodated my every need no problem. Will stay here again if in the area

Really enjoyed my time at this hotel. Check-in was easy, rooms was tidy, an’ staff was friendly. Would definitely come back.

The breakfast lobby area was kind of small but was well stocked and the lady who helped us at check in and checkout was very friendly and kind. We had to book a room on the way home due to my husband and I being too tired to drive. I appreciate their willingness to answer the phones so late at night and the kindness given on the phone asking about availability.

Stopped in on way home to Missouri. Nice half way break. Room was great price! Clean but outdated and to dark. Bath features outdated. But room served it's purpose. Staff wasn't overly warm but efficient.

Nice and clean very convenient for a trucker as you can park right on their lot. Very nice staff!
